Visitors to Sydney now have some fantastic places to stay with their pets.
5-star pet-friendly hotels in Sydney include The Langham, Ovolo 1888 Darling Harbour, Pier One Sydney Harbour, Intercontinental Double Bay and Little Albion Boutique Hotel – one of our favourites in the whole country!
The Crowne Plaza at Coogee Beach will also welcome your dog up to 20kgs.
All of these charge a reasonable fee to accommodation your furry friend and provide things like bedding, food bowls and treats.
Even Sydney Airport has got you covered with the Citadines Connect Hotel now pet-friendly.

Pet-friendly accommodation Hunter Valley
voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley has two dog-friendly rooms with private courtyards and the occasional pet-friendly dinner such as their Paws and Pizza night.
Ingenia Holidays Hunter Valley caters to all tastes and budgets from poolside villas to budget cabins and a number of caravan and camping sites.

Pet-friendly accommodation Coffs Harbour
Located mid-way between Brisbane and Sydney, Coffs Harbour is a diverse destination offering some of the most scenic coastline and lush hinterland. With the recent highway upgrades, travel time from north or south is substantially reduced.
With a bit more diversity to offer these days than just The Big Banana (though it’s still a hallowed landmark), the attractions and pursuits available in and around Coffs are like counting stars.
Coffs Harbour has a large number of recommendable pet-friendly accommodations including Bonville Lodge Bed & Breakfast offering studio or self-contained accommodation in a country setting (10km from the centre of Coffs, and 2km from the Bonville golf course), promising 2 level acres to allow pets to stretch their legs. Brodie Beach Bungalow and Korora Bay Village Resort are located more centrally, and closer to the beaches. There are pet-friendly activities all around the area, and if you are looking to have a few hours to explore and you want your pet cared for, either day-care or overnight (or for some grooming and pampering), Tarraray Pet Retreat at Bonville is recommended as a unique concept in pet care.
Pet-friendly accommodation Forster
About 2 hours south of Coffs is the lovely beachside town of Forster which is a popular stopping off spot for people exploring the East coast.
Lanis Holiday Island Forster has family cabins with spas and to huts that are ideal for budget travellers. All accommodation has access to free Foxtel.
Park facilities include two swimming pools, playground, camp kitchen and entertainment centre, barbecues, boat ramp, school holiday family activities and entertainment and wireless internet access. Pets welcome (conditions apply).
Pet-friendly accommodation Byron Bay
In nearby Brunswick Heads, Chalet Motel is has had a very funky retro fit-out and is a short walk to the famous Brunswick Heads Hotel ( ‘The Bruns’) and award-winning restaurants, Fleet.
Another place really worth staying at is Mavis’s Cabins near Uki in the Hinterland near the Qld/NSW border. This is a fairly recent addition to the very popular and iconic Mavis’s Kitchen restaurant.
Bowral pet friendly
An excellent mid-range choices include Whale Inn and Restaurant in Narooma. Not far from there is magnificent Bundanoon Lodge in the tiny village of Bundanoon, owned by avid pet lovers with the poodle on site.
Near Kangaroo Valley be sure to check out the Award Winning Tiny House ‘Arabella’ with its amazing glass bathroom pod and beautiful outdoor setting. Your pet will never want to leave!

Mudgee pet friendly
Evanslea Luxury Boutique Accommodation in Mudgee is hard to beat and set in stunning gardens with a fire pit on the river bank.
Moree Pet Friendly
Gwydir Thermal Pool, Motel and Caravanpark, Moree has brand new one and two-bedroom motel units accommodation, Cabins, one and two-bedroom Villas, and Caravan powered sites as well as 5 Artesian Thermal pools on site.
Pet friendly Caravan Parks NSW
In the south Riverwood Downs in the foothills of Barrington Tops has over 750 acres of land to explore including a swimming pool while Wollondilly River Station is a great family friendly eco bush camp in the Southern Highlands.
In Bateman’s Bay, Merry Beach Caravan Park and Mystery Bay Campground near Narooma are great spots right near the water. They will also welcome your furry friend to stay at Reflections Holiday Parks Bermagui.
In the Hunter Valley Ingenia Holidays, Hunter Valley is hard to beat and then Smugglers Cove in Forster if you are heading north.
Most Big4 caravan parks allow pets and Big4 Sunshine South West Rocks Holiday Park is one of them. Further north is the Reflection Holiday Park in beautiful Evans Head.
